Freshfolk English is a year-long course that aims to provide a foundation for the continued study of literature and writing in high school and college. The course emphasizes literary terms and concepts necessary to a student's ability to analyze challenging works of literature; continuing development of writing skills with an emphasis on the academic essay; increasing the student's ability to use standard English; and increasing her or his vocubulary.

This website is intended to improve communications between the students, parents, and me. Here I will post not only copies of all assignments, but also calendars and links to resources that may help students in their studies. Students and parents will also be able to access grades from this site, and will eventually my blog and podcasts (as I figure out how best to do these). As always, your feedback is most welcome.
